CHA - New Release Pt. V

Welcome to our penultimate CHA reveal - didn't time just fly? Hard to believe that we are almost done with our new products...

All four lines plus their coordinating stamps and rub ons are so different yet work so perfectly with each other that it seems impossible to pick a favourite...so why not treat yourself to all of them *wink, wink*But with all our brand new releases we don't want to forget our other fantastic paperlines {Flutter} - {Vroom} - {Cupcake} and {Tweet}. And because we love them just as much as the new kids on the block, we have created some fantastic rub ons to coordinate with each of those lines, too.
Now aren't those just delightful? These may even be part of our CHA prize pack, so if you want to be in it to win it - just leave us a comment on today's post and tell us why you like using rub ons.

Good Monday Morning everyone!! Kathy posting today amongst the CHA sneak peeks - isn't the new stuff wonderful!!

You know, with the 'big' holidays behind us, Valentine's Day is just a few short weeks away! I love using non traditional papers for traditional things. Here I used the Unwritten (I think it's my favourite, so classic and versatile!), Bebe and even Hot Chocolate collections to make a few simple Valentine's cards! Once I pick up a bit of chocolate, I'll be all set for hugs and kisses day!

Have a great Monday!

January Inspiration -> Kim S

Hello everybody - this is Kim S posting today.

Now that we have all well and truly settled in the New Year and taken down all the Christmas decorations it is already time to think about Valentines Day!
For 2009 I have set myself the challenge to use up as much of my papers as I possibly can. What better way to combine this with my Blog-Challenge for you, as I have used just scraps of paper for this cute accordion folded display.

** click any of the images if you wish to see them larger **

If you scrap, like me, mainly in 8,5 x 11 you will most probably have lots of 3,5 x 12 strips of paper floating around, right? Well, the above display was made from one of said strips - kinda nifty, hu? If you want to get the best use out of your scrap-stash, then have a look at my step-by-step guide. I am pretty confident that you will enjoy using up your scraps!

Step 1:
Take a 3,5 x 12 strip of patterned paper

Step 2:
Score the sheet on 2" intervals and bend them in accordion style. Decide which side of the double sided paper should be on display and score along the length of the strip another 1" line. Bend this one forward. As I had decided I wanted a scalloped border, I punched the edge of the 1" fold BEFORE I continued with the next step.

Step 3: Place strip of double-sided tape along the creases of the 2" score marks but ensure you do this on the 1" fold-over part. This way you will create small "pockets" in which you can place pictures, tags, money (if using this as a gift card). You can skip this step if you do not want any pockets and just glue the 1" fold-over straight onto the background.

Now you can start to work with the base of this display as your heart desires. I have chosen to distress the edges with a distressing tool and some ink and add tags and chipboard letters to my display. If you chose to make a display like this following the step-by-step guide, please do link us back to your project so we can leave you some love :)
