Upsy Daisy Designs meets Spellbinders

Do you love using die cuts for your projects? I am not necessarily talking pre-made die cuts but those you can create yourself with the help of such wonderful products like the Spellbinders  dies. Personally, I love the versatility those dies give you - in particular the Nestabilities.

Spellbinders generously sponsored the Upsy Daisy Designs DT Members with our choice of Nestabilities and I chose the Labels One . It just screams at me to use it for creating a minibook from scratch, but will also come in handy as a base for a journaling block. Have a look at the Upsy Daisy Designs Stamp-Set Chic Bebe and you see how perfectly the journaling stamp will fit this set of Nestabilities. But I digress...
This week, I have created a card using the Labels One die and a few of the new Paper Releases. I love how the die used as the background, guides the eye to the focal point of the card.

Card - Birthday

Papers: Upsy Daisy Designs #ND015. Inspire (A New Day Line); #UDD0176. Grafton, #UDD0178. Kent (Man About Town I Line)
Embellishments: Rub Ons - Upsy Daisy Designs #UDD192. Butterfly Wishes, #UDD189. Oh Happy Day;
Tools: Label Die - Spellbinders;
Don't forget that Upsy Daisy Designs have a DT call running right now - if you would like to become part of this wonderful team, check out the details Here.

Circle Card

I'm so excited to share with you a card I made using the new
Upsy Daisy Designs "A Walk in the Park" Collection.

You'll first need to punch out several 1 1/2 inch circles.

I then positioned the circles on my kraft paper card base.

I added brads to a few of the circles for a little dimension. Using your favorite adhesive attach the circles to the card. Turn your card over and cut off the *hanging over* circles on the top and bottom.

The finished card...

Enchanted

I am so excited to share one the projects that I have been working on over the past week or so. These altered mason jars were made using Upsy Daisy's new summer CHA release called Enchanted. Enchanted is a perfect name for these papers. They have an elegance about them that just works perfectly with a touch of gold (I used gold ribbons). They are also Upsy Daisy's first papers that has a texture to them. I would describe it as an orange peel texture.

Also, take note of the little tags that I have hanging off each jar (inspire, hope and love). Upsy Daisy recently teamed up with Spellbinders to bring you projects using Upsy Daisy and Spellbinders products together. These little dies are amazing. They are so thin that they take up very little space and they work in most die cut machines. The dies that I am using here are called Labels 3.

While you are here, take a moment to check out the Upsy Daisy Designs Design Team call!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
