A Bit of Enchanted Bling

I have a confefssion to make - I am a total "girly girl". If it's floral, I like it. If it's shabby chic, I like it. If it's pink or purple, I LOVE it.

I've been having a play with the "Enchanted" range for this month's projects - and taking them a bit further than just a page. I scrapped a small chest of drawers for my daughter - here are the pictures:

I added some bling around the handles and used Upsy Daisy's own white alphabet rub ons to create the titles on each drawer. The corner flower arrangement was added with a hot glue gun and there's an idea for you to try on your next project - why not curl the ribbon across your page? Stick it down every few inches with some glue dots and you end up with a wonderful 3D effect.
I also put together a page for this month using the Enchanted range - I think it is the perfect range of papers and embellishments for a Vintage inspired page:

There are some handmade flowers in there that you could also try - just cut out some individual petals and shape them around a pencil for some curl. Centre them with a brad and you have a perfectly co-ordinating flower for your page.
Have a lovely week, everyone!

Berlin as seen in Vogue....

This month has been filled with the joy of creating with the brand new releases from Upsy Daisy Designs. Every time Nicole and Teri present us with a new line, they are totally topping their previous releases.

For February, all of us DT Members were asked to create a layout based on the following sketch:

I decided to break into the papers from the Vogue line, simply because the bold patterns scared me...oh yes, I like being challenged by papers like this and while creating my layout, I have fallen head over heels for Vogue. It basically BEGS you to cut up the flowers and use them as embellishments on my pages.

And here is another project created from this months' sketch by DT coordinator Lacintha Naidoo
Lacintha used the See You Later Alligator line for her fantastic layout.

DT Member Sandi Counceller also used the Alligator line to create this super cute layout from the sketch

DT Member Andrea Wiebe, like me, also used the wonderful Vogue papers on her fabulous layout

DT Member Janis created a stunner of layout with the Man About Town II line....is this not simply divine and mouthwatering?

Additionally we got to create a card, based on the theme of Love (naturally - what else would you think of in February?). Using the new Blossom line, I created this fun Happy Anniversary Card/Tag combination.

You are very welcome to use the above sketch as inspiration for your Upsy Daisy Designs project. If you do, please come back to this post and link us to your creation.

Showing off Blossom

Hey everyone!!

I am so excited to get to show off one of Upsy Daisy's beautiful new lines. I was naturally drawn to the pinks and browns in Blossom. With Valentines Day fast approaching, I made this little love card.

I just love all of the patterns in the Blossom line. My little circle punch was a great way to include every pattern and the brads on this layout.

A String of Hearts!

I used the new Upsy Daisy Blossom line to make this *love* card!
To make the string of hearts, punch many hearts and glue them down on the Blossom Spring Breeze paper.
Machine stitch accross the paper, you could also hand stitch :)

Happy February ♥
