New CHA Products

Hi Everyone! Amanda here making my first post to the Daisy Diaries. I have a few projects to show you here using some of Upsy Daisy's newest products, fresh from CHA.

This card is made using the Bebe pattern papers, Bebe rub-ons, Little One rub-ons, the new flower brads and Make A Bloom stamps. To make these flowers, I used the Make A Bloom stamps and stamped on to Bebe pattern paper. I then cut them out and then adhered them to the card.

This is a birthday card/mini book that I made using the Circle of Friends pattern paper, rub-ons, and stamps. I also used the new Upsy Daisy flower brads on this card.

I used the Unwritten line to make this layout along with the new co-ordinating stamps, rub-ons and jeweled brads.
Look how beautiful and elegant these new brads are!

I used Staz-on ink and only inked the corner of this stamp and stamped it into the corners of the photo.

I am going to show you steps turn the butterfly rub-ons into 3D embellishments. First, cut out the butterfly off the sheet of rub-ons and rub it on to plain white cardstock. (non-textured cardstock works best)

Then, cut the image out very close to the edges of the rub-on.

Next, take a letter opener or bone folder and use it to curl the wings (very similar to how you would make curly ribbon with the blade of scissors)

Fold your butterfly to give it a bit more dimension.

When you adhere your butterfly to the page, just use adhesive on the body of the butterfly so the wings are able to pop up off the page. This technique also works well with images cut from stamps or pattern paper (white butterfly shown is cut from Unwritten pattern paper).

Have a great day everyone and hopefully Spring will find you soon!

Amanda
